WindyCityDB: NoSQL Databases - Sat, June 25, 2011
What is a NoSQL database, and why should I consider one for my next project? WindyCityDB, Chicago’s NoSQL database conference, will answer that question on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
Are you a developer with strong opinions? Then submit a presentation proposal. Presentations can cover a wide variety of topics, including:
- Real world problems solved through the use of a NoSQL databse.
- Comparisons between the various NoSQL databases. Graph, key-value store, document, etc.
- Strong, well-reasoned opinions about the future of the NoSQL movement.
Note that WindyCityDB goes far beyond Ruby. WindyCityDB is relevant to projects written in Python, Java, Scala, C++, Erlang… any project that needs persistent storage.
