Growing Mad Mimi: Sharing Disruptive Techniques

November 21, 2009

First: Thanks Gabe Saravia
Gabe Saravia shared his plugin creation experience at our Nov 21st meeting. Gabe loves Rails but he doesn’t love writing Rails migrations. His plugin, Has-In-Model-Attributes, automates the process. Thank you Gabe!

Coming December 1st: Growing Mad Mimi

At our December 1st meeting, Dave will share his biggest lessons from this project. Most of the lessons are not technical, though Ruby and Rails certainly facilitated them. Read More

Thank You for Nov 3rd
Thanks Ginny Hendry, Dave Giunta, & Matt Tanguay-Carel for running a successful random pairing meeting, and hats off to Joseph Leddy for stepping in with some additional instruction! By all accounts this was a successful meeting, so you will see more of these in the future.

Make Your Own Plugin
Have you ever wanted to create your own Ruby on Rails plugin? Gabe Saravia has gone through the process and he will share his experiences with our group. Drop by Meetup for details and to RSVP. See you there!
