Coding Dojo, Excellent Execution

April 18, 2009

Coding Dojo Recap
Thank you Dave Giunta for an excellent Coding Dojo, and thank you Illinois Technology Association for a great venue.

Dave started with an overview of RSpec, Cucumber, and test driven development (TDD). Dave acknowledged David Chelimsky, author of The RSpec Book, for inspiring parts of his presentation.

After the presentation, Dave led a rotating pair of programmers through the bowling kata. Imagine the pressure of pair programming in front a room full of people! Our drivers and navigators rose to the challenge and handled themselves well. All of the slides & code from the coding dojo are available on GitHub:

Thanks also to Van Richardson of SigmaITS for his video recording services. Video from the April meeting will appear here soon.
