About Us
Welcome to ChicagoRuby.org!
Who We Are
We are a group of Ruby and Ruby on Rails enthusiasts. Every ChicagoRuby.org meeting features something for everyone, from Ruby Nuby through Master Jedi. Our meetings are a place where we share our knowledge and excitement about the language and the framework.
When We Meet
Our group meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 3pm in the Chicago area. Our location floats, so be sure to sign up at Meetup.com to get the exact location for a particular month.
Rails in the Windy City
ChicagoRuby.org produces WindyCityRails, a full-day Ruby on Rails conference. The first WindyCityRails was held on September 20, 2008 at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). Developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and investors all benefit from WindyCityRails.
Also in the Ruby Community
A seperate Ruby user group, Chirb, meets in downtown Chicago. Learn more about the relationship between Chirb and ChicagoRuby.org in A Tale of Two Groups.
